NEW SINGLE FOR PEACE FROM VICIOUS TEKNIQUE, “HAVE U HEARD U” AVAILABLE NOVEMBER 28TH

Hearing people say the phrase “we live in strange times” is quite possibly one of the only things that seem normal in our day-to-day lives. Nothing is off the table in modern America. A major political figure has a disagreement with the government? Time for a month-long shutdown. A new public figure emerges with ideas that actually feel relevant to you? Half the country immediately disagrees. A group different from yours feels marginalized, and their needs not met? Hardly anyone cares.

If you’re reading this, you likely feel that our elite are out-of-touch, and their ideas are out-of-date. However, the 2020s will not last forever;  a new generation will eventually come of age and be willing to address more timely issues. At Conundrum Records, we believe there are few  ways of spreading awareness and inspiring change better than a work of fine art. Mark your calendars for Vicious Teknique’s latest offering, “Have U Heard U.”

On November 28, Vicious Teknique will release “Have U Heard U,” a song poised to hit harder than any cold statistic ever could. More than music, this is a rallying cry for peace, an anti-genocide anthem aimed straight at the heart of injustice. While some protest tracks skirt around specifics, “Have U Heard U” dares to amplify those voices too often muffled, the resilient, the displaced, and the silenced. Not only that, but the song is backed by a hard hitting rap beat and a youthful energy.

In unmistakable Vicious Teknique style, the track blends raw, unfiltered lyricism with a driving beat that feels both urgent and timeless. Fans of Immortal Technique or 2Pac will recognize the uncompromising delivery; those attuned to the hard-knock minimalism of Kendrick or Curren$y will hear a familiar fire in the production. But “Have U Heard U” is entirely its own—a lean, unflinching protest song shaped by today’s wounds faced by those in war torn areas like Palestine, and determined to leave a mark beyond the moment.

This single is arriving at a time when demand for truth is at fever pitch among creatives, advocates, and urban trendsetters, who value authenticity and action over empty spectacle. “Have U Heard U” is more than something to stream for mood’s sake. It’s for the ones who know music can be both shield and sword, especially when championing justice. Known for blending independence, luxury, hustle, Vicious Teknique offers “Have U Heard U” as a rallying cry for a generation that measures their worth not by what they own, but by what they stand for.

With “Have U Heard U,” Vicious Teknique throws down the gauntlet, will you let the moment pass by, or will you let the song spark a fire? Stream the single, share it with your community, and if you’re about action, sync up with organizations fighting for justice in Palestine, Sudan, and everywhere voices need amplifying.
Join the conversation, raise the volume, and let the world know, you heard, you care, and you’re ready to answer the call. Be sure to check out the presave for Have U Heard U before it drops. For more of Vicious Teknique, be sure to check out his website and Instagram.

Exploring “PayWall” by Vicious Teknique: A Journey Thru Obstacles

Vicious Teknique is back with his anticipated single, “PayWall,” from his album SCAM, released on July 25th, 2025. This new piece isn’t just a song, it’s an empowering anthem that takes listeners on a journey through the literal and metaphorical challenges we all face in life. With “PayWall,” VT explores themes of ambition, resilience, and societal dynamics through his unique, multi-meaning lyrics accompanied a by captivating sound.

The Many Layers of “PayWall”

At its core, “PayWall” examines the obstacles, or paywalls, we encounter as we strive to attain our goals. The chorus poses poignant questions: “How many stacks on stacks to pass this paywall? Every time I try to climb, why do I gotta fall?” These lines, along with the verse’s progression, embody both a literal and metaphorical climb, resonating with anyone who’s felt the weight of societal barriers or personal setbacks. The recurring line, “Where you at, where you at,” challenges listeners to introspect about their place in the world and within personal struggles.

A Narrative of Empowerment

The narrative brilliance of “PayWall” lies in its blend of self-discovery and societal commentary. Vicious Teknique dives into the turmoil of conflicting priorities and societal expectations with lines like, “Constricted by the pedigree, until drunk’s stout, conflicted with priorities.” It’s a reflection on societal pressures with the double entendre of “stout” symbolizing strength, while referencing the alcoholic beverage simultaneously. VT uses vivid imagery and allusions to illustrate breaking free from these constraints—“stay above ’em like Mossin,” symbolizing the aspiration to rise above and conquer. From “rerouting North swiftly” to the end of the verse which details the final cross, commences the journey over the PayWall with an eternal question of, “At what cost?”

A Visual and Auditory Journey

Vicious Teknique’s creative process is rich with inspiration from real-life challenges, societal inequality, and collaborator insights. The song’s rhythmic intensity and lyrical poignancy encourage us to envision the proverbial wall not as a barrier, but as an opportunity to innovate and climb above.
